• Solid Construction: fixture frame is constructed of metal unlike some T4 fluorescent units that are made of plastic
• Full Fixture Lighting: the end of the T4 lamp is only 0.50in from the end of the fixture unlike some T4 units like this that often have a full 1.50 inches between the end of the lamp and the end of the fixture

• Protective Cover: includes a clear, ribbed, attractive, easy-to-clean acrylic cover that protects the fluorescent lamp
• Complete Unit: Microfluorescent T4 Light Fixture includes a T4 fluorescent lamp, acrylic cover, a small on/off rocker switch located on the body of all of the fixtures except the 6-watt model, a 6ft power cord with a two-prong polarized plug, one direct connector, and mounting clips & screws
  
  LAMPS
• Lamps Included: T4 (4/8in diameter) tri-phosphorous fluorescent lamp with a color temperature of 3000K (warm white), 4100K (cool white), or 6400K (daylight white). Four colored T4 lamps are also available: red, blue, green, and black light. (6W lamp does not come in black light.)
• Very Good Lamp Life: rated life is 16,000 hours on average (Lamp is easily replaced.) Caution: always be certain that the lamp is seated properly in both of its sockets. Be sure that both pins of each end are inside their respective socket and that the lamp is rotated 90 degrees once the pins are in the sockets. Failure to make good electrical contact between the pins and its socket may result in arcing and excessive heating of the socket.
• Good Color Rendition: high Color Rendering Index (CRI) of 82+ for all 3 white lamps (warm white, cool white, daylight white)
• Lamp Lengths: 9 different lamp MOL lengths of 9in, 13-1/8in, 17in, 18.75in, 20-9/16in, 28.75in, 34in, 40in, and 45.75in regardless of color temperature or color of lamp
  
  ELECTRICAL FEATURES
• Quiet Electronic Ballast: built-in lightweight electronic ballast provides instant-on starting with no flickering and cool quiet operation
• Energy Efficient: uses only 6, 8, 12, 16, 20, 22, 24, 26, 28 watts of power/fixture respectively
• Maximum Wattage: in general, the maximum wattage in one “ganged” line of T4 fixtures is 200 watts. However, if the 22W, 24W, 26W, or the 28W fixtures are connected in a single circuit, only 5 of these fixtures may be “ganged” together.
• Linkable: can be installed as a single unit or as multiple units connected with inline Direct Connectors,
  90-Degree Direct Connectors, 3-Way Direct Connectors, and/or Flexible Connectors of 6in, 12in, 24in, or 36in. If the distance between two Microfluorescent T4 Fixtures is greater than 36 inches, then use two or more Flexible Connectors. For example, if the distance between two Microfluorescent T4 Fixtures is 65 inches, use two 36in Flexible Connectors connected end-to-end. You may order optional 90-Degree Direct Connectors, 3-Way Direct Connectors, and Flexible Connectors in the Accessories tab. A standard inline Direct Connector comes with each fixture.
• Rocker Switch Pre-Installed: all of the fixtures (except the 6-watt fixture) come equipped with a small on/off rocker switch on the side of the fixture. When the Microfluorescent T4 Fixtures are linked together one or more of the fixtures may be turned off by using the rocker switch without affecting the other fixtures. If this fixture is hard-wired to power, then it may be controlled by a wall switch as long as the rocker switch is left in the "on" position.
• Not Dimmable: these fluorescent fixtures are not dimmable
  
  INSTALLATION
• Easy to Install: easy to install with 2 screw-in clips, then fixture snaps into place
• Electrical Connections: can easily be connected to power by either using a 6-foot power cord & 2-prong polarized plug or a choice of two different Hard Wire Boxes. However, these Microfluorescent T4 units cannot be hardwired directly to the fixture; their profile is simply too small.
• HardWire Boxes Available: two hard wire boxes are available, a Spec Grade Metal Hard Wire Box (PSP-BM: 2.0inH x 1-7/8inW x 2-7/8inL) and a Hard Wire Box with a Rocker Switch (PSP-B: 1.5inH x 2.5inW x 4.0inL). Both hard wire boxes require that a Flexible Connector of the appropriate length must be used to connect the hard wire box to a T4 fixture. When determining how many Microfluorescent T4 Light Fixtures and which size you will need for under cabinet lighting you first will have to measure the space where the fixtures will be attached. To do this you should NOT measure the face of the cabinets; you must measure the "cavity" under the cabinet where the fixtures will actually be placed. We recommend that you "fill up" the cavity space with the largest fixture that can fit. For example, for a cavity space that measures 28 inches we recommend that you use the 20W Microfluorescent fixture that measures 23.0in long with the power cord, not the 16-watt fixture that measures 21.5in with the power cord.
